Each Continent Mold is 1/4” Deep and has a shiny smooth surface texture for glossy castings so no sanding necessary. These have been resized to be about equal to use all as coasters, they will not fit together. Top Pour’ -(where the top of the coaster is the top/last poured layer of resin).

All Molds are made with High End Platinum Cure Silicones that are extremely durable, non-stick, heat tolerant to 450 degrees F, and will last many castings with proper care. To improve life of your mold we recommend always using a Resin Rated Mold Release Agent before every Casting. Clean molds with warm soapy water or 99% Alcohol and store face down to prevent contaminants/scratches getting on the mold and ensure the surface stays shinny.

The Silicone used in this mold is skin safe but not safe for any cooking/medical applications. (If you need a Food Safe version please message us.) Actual Mold Color varies based on available silicone.

We recommend using Heat Guns over Flames to pop bubbles as flames left too long on the silicone can break it down faster and cause tearing or sticking of resin castings when demolding.

Please follow safety instructions of your resin manufacturer when working with resin. Use gloves and respirator at all times. Also be aware that as Resin is an exothermic reaction =the more material used the more heat and faster the reaction will go. Larger Molds and Coating rated Resins are best poured in layers. Check your resins max depth and/or use Casting Rated Resins for bigger amounts.
